Adrianne’s Bio

Adrianne Pezzella
Hi, my name is Adrianne Pezzella and I am one of those rare natives to Sarasota, FL. For as long as I can remember, I have possessed a deep love and passion for children, music, and education. During my childhood and adolescent years, I stayed very busy taking piano and dance lessons and performing in numerous recitals.

After graduating Sarasota High School with honors, I attended my freshman year of college at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. It was during that year that I met my husband, Marc. I then transferred to the University of South Florida where I completed my B.A. in Psychology.

My next adventure was teaching Physical Education and creating a music/dance program at Ashton Elementary School. It was during this time that I was able to see how the power of music had a positive effect on my students. This led me to obtain my MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching) at USF in Sarasota in 2003.

In my spare time I have obtained a personal trainer certification through AFPA and a group fitness certification through Shapes Total Fitness. I have taught numerous classes for local fitness businesses and also worked with individuals to create their own fitness routines and goals.

Marc and I have been married for 12 years and are now the proud parents of two beautiful daughters. My teaching experience taught me how important it was for children to learn through music and so I have used music to teach my girls many concepts throughout their lives. I truly believe that music makes learning fun.

In 2007 I decided to create a music program called APKidzSongs. The goal of this program was to combine fitness and education through music. In July 2008, APKidzSongs released their first CD called “Fun To Be Fit”. The songs on this CD incorporate life lessons, educational concepts, and interactive movements. “Fun To Be Fit” is being used to teach music and movement classes to young children and showing them that being “fit” can be “fun”.

I hope you enjoy “Fun To Be Fit” as much as I do…Happy Singing!!!

Sincerely,

Adrianne Pezzella
